If we, as a planet, can restrict global warming to 2 deg C then we stand a good chance of saving ourselves and the Earth’s eco-system as it is now. If we let it go above that and beyond 3 deg C then there’s pretty much no chance. Read the rest of this entry »

We’ve all had them, we can see piles and piles of them in the shops. A thin card sleeve with this season’s popular film characters on and inside that a moulded plastic tray meant to hold tiny slivers of poor quality chocolate that all fall out and lurk at the bottom of the box.

I’ve used a few different shopping systems on Ethics Trading, from the simplest paypal buttons through to the fully integrated cubecart. I like the full systems with all the bells and whistles on, but they tend to be a bit clunky for customers, especially at the part where you have to register and some even make you wait while your registration is verified before you can buy anything.
