Upgrades and toothpaste!

July 29th, 2009 Sarah Posted in Business News, Family No Comments »

Just upgraded to a new version of wordpress – hope it’s not broken anything. You’ll let me know if it has? Please do comment or email if you find something not working or missing.

Also just uploaded some new toothpaste, in fennel flavour to the shop. Fennel is just as refreshing as mint for those who don’t get on with mint and catering to those on both sides of the added fluoride argument – it comes in fluoride and fluoride free! However, both varieties are free from SLS, sweeteners, artificial flavours and enhancers and also free from preservatives.

As always, postage is free on all orders to any destination but bear in mind that UK deliveries will be sent via second class post and overseas will be send by surface mail.

Where to find us.

July 17th, 2009 Sarah Posted in Business News No Comments »

Ethics Trading is an online retailer so we don’t have a physical presence on your high street, or in your local shopping centre. However, other than the obvious main Ethics Trading website, we are in a number of places on the web!

You can find us at:

You will probably come across me as a forum poster in other places but those are the main places where Ethics Trading is my focus. Do drop into one of them and say Hi, I’d love to see you.

The price you see is the price you pay.

June 11th, 2009 Sarah Posted in Business News No Comments »

No surprisingly hefty shipping charges at the last stage of checkout and no handling fees.

No unexpected costs at all, it’s all transparent and open, the price of each item at Ethics Trading is what you pay, regardless of destination.  Yes, anywhere in the world but bear in mind any order placed using free shipping will be sent by the cheapest means possible which means second class or standard parcel post within the UK and surface mail for overseas.

It’s Spring Bank Holiday weekend coming up and the weather forecast is for a mixture of sun, showers and warm and cooler. What a start to what will be half term for most of us. I hope it stays dry, I want to get out in my garden.

A redesign…

May 10th, 2009 Sarah Posted in Business News No Comments »

I’ve been using an off the shelf website building bit of software that I’ve had for years. It has a neat little gadget that lets you embed a dynamic nav bar that updates automatically and it’s been dead useful to use that.

But I’ve had problems with it working properly and I can’t use my own images with it….

Recovering.

May 4th, 2009 Sarah Posted in Business News, Soap nuts No Comments »

My back is sore and stiff after wrenching it last week but thanks to lots of painkillers and lots of rest, and no gardening (sob), I’m recovering nicely.

So, anyone waiting for orders – I’m back at the sewing machine making soap nut bags and will be posting over the next few days.  I do still have to take it easy but we’re gettig back to normal here.
